Regiftable.com Archive

Regiftable.com launched for the first time on November 1, 2006 to open a dialog about holiday gifting. At first, we weren’t sure what to expect, but a real dialog is exactly what went on!   We’ve had two successful contests with a total of nearly 900 regifting story submissions ranging from horrific to hilarious. During each contest, site visitors rated their favorite stories and three lucky regifters won some great prizes.  Regiftable.com has been repackaged twice; each time offering new and exciting features.

In addition to the activity on the site, Regiftable.com received some very impressive media interest. The site was featured on the homepages of MSN, AOL and Yahoo. It was also mentioned in more than 700 media exposures.

We have been so pleased with the success of this site that we have decided to rewrap Regiftable.com again this year.  The site has been redesigned to include a few more fun interactive features, as well as another opportunity to win with a new regifting story submission contest.  Submit your regifting story today for a chance to win!

Peanut Butter Maker
By: Jennifer A.
From: Ripon, WI

When I was just 7 or so,(almost 30 years ago) my brother and sister gave a peanut butter maker to my parents for Christmas. My brother and sister were in there early teens. I don't think my parents ever used the thing. Now that we are all grown up with kids of our own, the peanut butter maker started resurfacing at special gifting occaisions. It was given as a wedding gift, a birthday present, anniversary gift. Currently my husband and I have it. We are holding onto and have been for 5 years. No one remembers where it is, and we are simply waiting for another opportunity to regift it.
